MANITOBA FERRET ASSOCIATION FOSTER AGREEMENT FORM I/We hereby agree to foster _______________________________ for a period of: 3 months / 6 months ______________. Said ferret(s) shall have up-to-date distemper vaccination(s). I/We agree to provide the necessities of life: quality Kitten/Ferret food, fresh water, approved litter, blankets and toys. I/We agree to provide daily exercise of no less than 2 hours. I/We understand that all medical decisions and costs are the responsibility of the Manitoba Ferret Association Shelter. In the event of a life threatening injury where time is of the essence and the shelter operator is unavailable; it is understood that medical attention by sought from the Henderson Animal Hospital at 1434 Henderson and at the Animal Hospital of Manitoba after regular hours. It is understood that the shelter operator shall be advised as soon as possible. I/We understand that any ferret being fostered may require special care and handling to overcome behaviour problems. The Manitoba Ferret Association and Shelter are not responsible for any damage to property or personal injury caused by the fostered ferret. I/We understand that the Foster Agreement may be canceled by either party by giving 48 hours notice. I/We understand that the ferret being fostered is available for adoption during this period. The Foster family has first refuseable of adoption. Should the foster family refuse, the adoption can proceed immediately. I/We understand that the Manitoba Ferret Association Shelter reserves the right to examine the ferret at any time during the fostering period.
